The perfect destination for a rest stop, with your caravan, camper or tents, while travelling to your next adventure.
We offer one private camp site, which contains space for 4x sites that can accommodate up to 20 campers. There is 2 large trees on either sides of the camp, which offers morning and afternoon shade for your setup.
Bring your own tents, or off-road caravans and camping equipment, like kitchen and braai utensils

Deposit of R2000 required when camping items are rented. Deposit will be repaid within 7 days of checkout.
Additional R1000 deposit will be applied if camp equipment is only rented for only one night
The camp site is about 500m away from the N1 Highway and reachable by car and caravans.
Facilities:
Limited facilities are provided to offer a more wild experience. One outdoor toilet, with a basin and gas-heated shower. A very unique double fire boma area. A shaded cemented kitchen wash-up area with a sink and outside furniture.
The camp site is pet friendly, and is semi-enclosed. Please take caution and protect all wild animals and any sheep that wandered off
There are NO power points at the campsite. Cellphones, tablets and laptops can be charged at The Self Catering. We are totally off-grid and run on solar lights and a gas geyser – no load-shedding!
The camp is 300m away from a Vodacom Tower so all networks will have full signal.
Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap will be provided. Minimum of two rolls of toiletpaper will also be provided.
5L of drinking water will be provided. Note that the water on site is borehole water, which is clean, but would not recommended to drink, but will be safe to drink, use for cooking etc.

Oskopvlakte is on the boundary of the winter rainfall biome and the edge of the Succulent Karoo biome. Unique succulent plants can be viewed in the hills and plains. Please respect the fauna and flora and please do not remove any plants from their natural landscapes.
