Oskopvlakte Self Catering

This indemnity applies to all persons who enter the Premises, whether as casual visitor, overnight guest, user of any of the facilities on the Premises or participating in any activity on the Premises or arranged by Oskopvlakte Self Catering (collectively referred to as ‘the Visitor’)

The Visitor acknowledges that he/she has read & understands this indemnity & agrees to be bound by the following:

I enter and use the Premises, parking areas, surrounds, stairs on the Premises & participate in any activities at the Premises entirely at my own risk
Right of admission is reserved.
I warrant that I have been advised of & I am aware of & accept the I will be exposed to a variety of risks & dangers at the Premises & to risks and dangers at the Premises which have been explained to me in detail & that I comprehend the risk & the implications thereof.
Such risks and activities include without limitation, water fountain, dangers of all outside areas, stairs etc.
I agree to obey at all times any warning notices and instructions of Oskopvlakte Self Catering.
Visitors hold harmless and indemnify the owners, management, staff, directors of Oskopvlakte Self Catering and waive any claims I may have.
It includes any loss of/damage to personal effects/property, any indirect, consequential or special loss/damage, financial loss, illness, injury, harm (as defined in the CPA) or death howsoever caused & legal costs (attorney & own client scale) that the Indemnified Parties may incur, unless such claim falls within the ambit of section 61 of the CPA (Act 68/2008)
I acknowledge that any assistance that the Indemnified Parties may render or arrange is done without any admission or acknowledgement of fault or liability and as a show of empathy & goodwill.

Loss or Damage to Oskopvlakte Self Catering;

Should Oskopvlakte Self Catering suffer any loss or damage as a result of an act or omission by a guest or visitor of a guest, the guest will remain liable for full reimbursement of such loss or damage incurred and will be billed accordingly.

Pet Friendly Farm:

Oskopvlakte Self Catering is a pet friendly farm. Any pet ( dog, cat, birds) is the sole responsibility of their owners. Oskopvlakte Self Catering will not be held responsible for any damages, loss or death. The owner will be held responsible for any damages made by his / her pet to the facility or other guests property or pet.

CCTV Surveillance:

For insurance purposes, CCTV Surveillance cameras were installed. These cameras are not to spy on any guests.  It was not installed due to any break ins or any crimes. The CCTV System was solely installed to comply to insurance requirements. 

The CCTV cameras are situated on the outside areas on the property and one in the living room. If you would prefer full privacy, kindly request before check-in that we should turn off the living room camera. No other inside cameras are installed.
